Our organization relies on volunteers and your donations. Reaching out to elected officials and government agencies takes time, money, and expertise in biology, water science, and land use law. Some other environmental organizations receive government grants to pay professionals and staff payroll, distribute benefits to directors, and file lawsuits so taxpayers fund their attorneys. San Geronimo Valley Stewards has no employees, and we reimburse volunteers only for expenses such as postage and printing. We do not pay salary or fees to any officer or director.
